With Valentine's Day fast approaching - I thought I'd do last year's photos (even though its out of order and I'm not even caught up to that point :( Sigh...Someday - right? Anyways - Char came out with this AWESOME heart quilt-like template - I just HAD to use it! It was just too fun. I combined it with a bunch of other of her super fun goodies - and this is what I came up with! I just love how it turned out - I love it when things just go together for me!!Here is the template that started the page - it's called "A Little Piece of My Heart"The majority of the goodies aren't released yet - they will be released to this Buffet starting February 1st! Check it out! Stalk it - they will be $1 on the 1st of February!!Now of course I need more than just one photo for my page - I remembered this fun template from her "Stand Out From the Crowd" template pack. I hadn't gotten a chance to use this particular template from the pack yet - so it was perfect!And I loved the heart paper in this pack (I remember using it in the past!) So I dug it out of my supplies and did a little recoloring!And I used to HATE alphas - now I can hardly scrap a page without one - so I went rummagine some more through her goodies - and came across this! How perfect - it even came in brown so I didn't have to recolor!I think that about sums up my page! I hope you enjoy it! :D

So I scraplifted a page to make my title page in preparation of getting my 2011 P365 book printed. I LOVED how it turned out - and apparently so did the gals at Me So Scrappy! December is here! Christmas is just around the corner - and things are chaotic as ever in my house - how about yours? Between Halloween, MN Hunting, WI Hunting, Thanksgiving, and leaving for Arizona in 13 days - things are CRAZY. Not to mention I know have two of my three children on amoxicillin - boy are we having fun yet?!

Anyways - with December brings a new buffet at GingerScraps!! I had the privilege to work with a bunch of the pieces this week - and I must admit - they're all AWESOME! 2012 Calendar Templates

So I made some calendar's last year for Christmas gifts - and I thought they turned out pretty darn cute (if I do say so myself!) I've debated back and forth about doing them again this year - and had decided maybe not - not sure if its good to give away calendars year after year - thought maybe it would get boring? I don't know - any thoughts (comments APPRECIATED!)

Well then I was inspired to use Jen's (from Graham like the Cracker) 2012 Calendar Bottom Templates - I had this great idea to turn one of the LOs I created into a calendar bottom!

And this is what I came up with - didn't it turn out SUPER CUTE?!? I thought so too! ;)

Some exciting news for you today!! Jen is BACK! I've been missing her lately - she's been busy making all sorts of homebaked goodies - but she found some time to design! She made three different pieces for the Make a Kit at Scrap Matters - (all images are linked to her store!)

I of course JUMPED at the chance to work with her goodies again! I participated in the October Scraplift challenge at Scrap Matters - and came up with this:

Christmas in...August?!

So you've heard of Christmas in July - but I'm scrapping Christmas of 2008 - and it's August - close enough right? Anyways - I'm almost done with scrapping 2008 - so not quite 3 years behind! Hope I can catch up soon!!

So I participated in a Scraplift Challenge over at ScrapMatters and LOVED how this LO turned out!! The right side is the one I lifted, then for the left side I flipped and did a little changing and got a balanced LO! I love it!

And of course to make this adorable page I had to use this adorable kit by Graham like the Cracker - it's called "Believe". I used the HUGE Collection which includes the kit (alpha, paper & elements), Worn Papers, Extras (extra alpha & extra elements).

It's been a while since I've blogged - I seem to go in streaks! I scrapped some recent pictures and thought I'd share the page (I dont' scrap recent stuff too often - as I'm trying to catch up - and if I get sucked into the recent pictures I'm afraid I'll never go back!)

But I got the chance to work with this kit from Connie Prince - and once you see the kids' outfits that they had for 4th of July - you can see why I just HAD to scrap recent photos - the kit was just too perfect for them!

Here is the way to cute kit - I just love the crab and whale - I didnt get a chance to ues the whale on this page - but you can be certain it will be showing up in the future!! (you can click on the image to be taken to GingerScraps)

And here is the LO I created with it (plus the word-art add-on and the templates!) How cute is this? I just love it! The kids were too funny this day - and it was a quick 8 min photoshoot - but we got some good shots regardless! They took turns being sick over the 4th of July - so didnt get many good pictures then - so we had to take them the following week!

Jen's got her mojo back!! :) And it SHOWS! She released this kit last week - but I was busy with some family in town due to a funeral - so I just got a chance now to work with this ADORABLE kit! :)

I worked with the whole "Rainbows & Butterflies" collection. Jen collabed with WM [squared] Designs to create this gorgeous collection!

This collection would normally be $17.25 - but its on sale NOW for only $11! I love the Spring feel of this kit! I used it to scrap two different LOs for Easter. For my son's page I made the cute Easter eggs :) Both LOs were made using a template from the awesome MandaGirl

Stephanie (aka Scrappy Cocoa) hosts a super fun template challenge every month - and I especially liked this one because it was a multi-photo template!! Here's the LO she based the template off of:

This months inspiration challenge (hosted by HarmonyStar) was to do a LO inspired by this photo:

The photo's dangling shells reminded me of the hanging lanterns in the GingerScraps Scrappin' Safari Collab which then inspired me to finish one of my zoo LOs - I think it turned out pretty cute (click image for all my credits!)

Jen originally created this kit while she was still at GingerScraps - and it was always on my wish list - well now she's BRINGING IT BACK! I was so excited to see this kit be re-released - I just couldn't wait to get my hands on it and scrap!!

I love the soft colors of this kit - and it worked perfectly for finishing to scrap Kaylee's 1st birthday (her 2nd party!)

Just wanted to show off some of the layouts I've made lately - from some WONDERFUL new stuff at GingerScraps!

First off is my July title page for the project 365! I can't believe we've made it to July - and I can't believe I'm still sticking with this! I have to admit - it will be kind of a fun album at the end of the year!

Anyways - heres the page I made (using a new picture from our trip to South Dakota! Perfect for July!)

For this adorable page - I used the kit "Independence" by Kathy Winters Designs - when I first saw this kit I immediately thought it would be perfect for my July pages - and I was right! I'm loving how this month is turning out!! (Thanks also to Weeds & Wildflowers for their templates for p365 - I rearranged an "old" month to make this one!)

She's also made an adorable "Patriotic Alpha" and "Independence Decorated Word Art" that go perfectly with this kit (and that I also used!) Check them all out now!

The next layout I made was Trev's May Misc from 2008 (yes, I am THAT far behind! LOL)

I used the new kit "Beach Bound" by Modern June Creations - I just loved the colors & versatility of this kit!! I wanted to show all the fun "non-beach" related elements in this kit - so I used it for this page! Altho you can be sure I'll be using it to create a beach or water LO in the near future!!

I just loving working for the GingerScraps Team!! They are always coming out with the cutest things!! Here are the items I got to work with this week!! :)

Graham like the Cracker is re-releasing some of my favorite kits of hers!! I've had a chance to scrap with both of them! Here's what I made:

For this first LO I used Jen's collab with Michelle Batton "Another Candle on the Cake". This kit is full of bright, retro-mod elements, cute cupcakes and groovy papers - perfect for scrapping your own little cupcake's party photos. And it also includes a extra-large alpha which would be perfect for making a hybrid party banner!

And here's my second LO.

For this second LO I used Graham like the Cracker's Collab with Karen Lewis Designz "Junior". This kit is prefect for any boy! Lots of balls, trucks and the colors are just adorable! This is an all purpose boy kit that is perfect for all of your pictures of your rambunctious bundle of boy. Bright primary colors with some splashes of neutral thrown in makes this a kit you will scrap with again and again.

I also used a FABULOUS new template from Photo Cowgirl! It's from her "Extreme Cluster Templates #2" available at GS.

Misty O'Brien has created some fabulous new templates based on Adriana (AKA dricamendes) Layouts. It's fun to be on such a great Creative Team! All these ladies inspire me to scrap more! :)

And here is the layout I created with her templates! I love how versatile they are - and how easy they are to work with! You can see that I moved around the pieces a bit - and quickly created an adorable 6 photo LO!

To create this LO I also used another product by MOB - it's her "Everyday Happenings - {Project 365} Collab with Spinky Dink Scraps" I recolored the pinks to a red - to match the dr. seuess embellies :) (Image is also linked to her store)

After what feels like FOREVER - I'm back to scrapping! My power cord went out on my laptop - so I had no access to Adobe Photoshop :( But now I got my new power cord - and hopefully I can get LOTS of scrappin' done now!!

I CT for some of the COOLEST designers!! While I was "away" they both released some FABULOUS things! I just HAD to get my hands on them as soon as I was "back" Look what I made - I think it turned out UBER CUTE!!

Scrapping....What's that?

Another semi-successful day today in the scrapbooking world! LOL I have all my photos updated on my P365 blog (check it out!) And I have my LO all done (just waiting for 3 more photos!)

Plus I added some photos to the background (I know my SIL would appreciate one with her daughter on it too!) Here is the final results of that:

AND I actually got to scrap something I wanted to do today! I had one page of this set done a LOOOOOOONG time ago - but finally got around to finishing the other page tonight! I think it turned out super cute! (Image linked w/ credits in gallery)

New Background for the computer!

So I'm sure no one really reads this anyways - but figured I'd post quit and wish everyone a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful time with family and friends and are now safe, happy & healthy back home again!

I know I enjoyed our time away (2 full weeks away from home is a LONG time!), but its nice to be back and have a bit of a routine again (as much of a routine as you can with 2 kids). Now if only my house was picked up and back in order so I can just spend LOTS of time scrapping....Someday!

Adriana hosted a great SS at Ginger Scraps tonight - and I was able to play along - for the first time in a long time. Now that I'm working on bouncing back after my setback...not sure if I feel like talking about it that much - LOL - but it felt good to be creative again! :)

Ellie Lash ROCKS!

So I recently discovered this designer - Ellie Lash - only to find out she is retiring as a designer (so sad....) and was doing a sale - so I actually purchased (I know for like the 2nd time EVER!) some of her things before they were gone! She then included an ADORABLE fall kit as an added bonus to purchasing in her retirement sale! It was hard NOT to buy anything!!

Anyways - here is a LO that I created using parts of her Pumpkin Patch and Delicious Kits (the tractor was from Mommy Me Time Scrapper_AutumnFest (recolored from red) and I used sketch template 6 from LorieM (flipped and moved a bit).

I just thought this LO turned out soooo cute! I loved the corn stalks (even tho the pics were taken in May - I know the corn is NO WHERE near that height (if coming up at all) but oh well!) The kits also came with some adorable pumpkins and a wheelbarrow and wagon that I'm just dying to use! So don't be surprised if you see a lot more LO's using these kits!! (once I get back into the "fall season" of scrapping pictures!! LOL)

It's Potty Time - Statements by Jodi's new kit

Hey Everyone!! I know it's been a few weeks since I've posted anything - I've been busy making some BB pages for grandparents day - and didn't want the grandparents to see them before they got them for a gift :D

Anyways - some exciting news!! Statements by Jodi has come out with a gorgeous new kit called "Potty Time!" It was a blast to work with - and not to mention adorable! Here is the kit in its entirety (linked to the Ginger Scraps store!)

This kit is perfect for scrapping your child's potty training adventure. It's also great for those big kid underwear photos!

This kit includes 18 papers, 70 elements, 73 stickers, A FULL alpha, and a printable 8x11 sticker chart that you can print out and use during your child's potty training! 4 different candy rewards, 2 rolls of toilet paper, a 5x7 sticker chart for your LO's, 2 potty chairs, 1 staple, 4 boys and 4 girls (blond, brunette, red head and black hair), 4 frames, 2 journal blocks, 2 step stools, 1 toilet, 1 sink, 5 flowers, 10 buttons, 6 pair of girl underwear and 5 pair of boy underwear, and 5 book plates.

Statements by Jodi "Elementary"

I had a chance to scrap with Statment by Jodi's kit "Elementary" last night after our "Scotland Steak Send-off" meal! (My MIL, her Mom & Sisters were going to Scotland - so we had steaks on the grill (organic from Futility farms - thanks to me winning that photo-contest!), corn on the cob (fresh from my Aunt's garden), potatos & warm apple crisp (from my Dad's apple trees)! It was DELICIOUS if I do say so myself! ;)

Anyways - its an awesome kit - and I had a blast scrapping with it - I hope to do a few more pages here in the next couple days once Trevor officially starts school!!

I'm so excited!! I'm officially a CT member for Statements by Jodi!! So far she has been fantastic to work with and patient with my 1/2 a billion questions! LOL!

I just got one of her recent kits - her part of the "School Days" Collab Kit with Scrappy Cocoa. The kit is called "Elementary" and is going to be PERFECT for scrapping the pics I took of Trev the other day at his new preschool (he starts Wed - eek!) Anyways - here's the kit (and its linked to her store!) Just wanted to show it to you all - go check it out its awesome!! And as soon as I get a chance to scrap with it - I'll be posting that as well!!

My cousin is getting married - in less than 2 months! I'm going to be her matron-of-honor and I'm SUPER excited!!

Anyways - she has a few showers coming up - and this in the invite I made for one of them - Didn't it turn out kind of fun?

Her colors are black, silver and accents of "hot green" as she likes to call it :D

Just wanted to say HI to everyone - altho I don't think anyone actually reads this - LOL! My goal this week is to get back to scrapping - I've spent the last few just gathering up some good supplies - still trying to overcome "the crash"! I'll still never be over the fact that I lost 3 months worth of photos (or about 60 LOs...) but I'm slowly building up my kit collection again - so I can just move on. I'm still trying to decide if I want to redo all those pages I lost or just print low res versions of them (thanks to my uploading most of them to Facebook I at least can see the work I did at one point....)

Ok - that's all - Hopefully I'll be back this week with some new LOs :D

It was a fun challenge while it lasted - I had a feeling this would be the week I would go home - there were a lot of us who did. I just didnt have a big alliance like some of the others. Oh well - now back to my "real" scrapping :D

GingerScraps Survivor Week 3: Letter Challenge

WOW! What a challenge! We were supposed to write a letter (that took up at least 1/4 of our page) to a loved one. I struggle with journaling as it is - let alone a letter that takes up 1/4 of the page!! So I struggled till the last possible minute (well close - LOL) and just gave up and posted my LO. I still wanted to change the journaling a bunch - but just left it as it was. I hope it gets me through till next week!!

GingerScraps Survivor Week 2 Challenge

Alright - even if you completed the Immunity Challenge for this week - we were still required to complete the regular challenge - otherwise we'd be out.

This week's challenge was to go look in the gallery (see the Survivor Gallery here) and scraplift a LO from another contestant. I chose to scraplift this LO from Redhead (LO is linked to her gallery - leave her some LOVE for this GORGEOUS LO!)

Not only did I just love her LO overall - it's soo cute - how could you not!?! But my eye was caught with her circle sun filled with the small square photos - and it reminded me of a softball! I was then reminded of all these adorable photos of my oldest child - and figure'd it'd be perfect for the LO - so here it is!
