2012 Calendar Templates

So I made some calendar's last year for Christmas gifts - and I thought they turned out pretty darn cute (if I do say so myself!) I've debated back and forth about doing them again this year - and had decided maybe not - not sure if its good to give away calendars year after year - thought maybe it would get boring? I don't know - any thoughts (comments APPRECIATED!)

Well then I was inspired to use Jen's (from Graham like the Cracker) 2012 Calendar Bottom Templates - I had this great idea to turn one of the LOs I created into a calendar bottom!

And this is what I came up with - didn't it turn out SUPER CUTE?!? I thought so too! ;)

And here are the templates - linked right to Jen's store - so go over - pick them up yourself & get cracking on some Christmas Gifts!

Graham Like the Cracker is BACK!

Some exciting news for you today!! Jen is BACK! I've been missing her lately - she's been busy making all sorts of homebaked goodies - but she found some time to design! She made three different pieces for the Make a Kit at Scrap Matters - (all images are linked to her store!)

I of course JUMPED at the chance to work with her goodies again! I participated in the October Scraplift challenge at Scrap Matters - and came up with this:

I also used the ellies from this Wyld Web Design's kit (recolored the witch's hair slightly :))

It was fun to work with Jen's goodies again - I hope she has time to design more stuff soon!

Christmas in...August?!

So you've heard of Christmas in July - but I'm scrapping Christmas of 2008 - and it's August - close enough right? Anyways - I'm almost done with scrapping 2008 - so not quite 3 years behind! Hope I can catch up soon!!

So I participated in a Scraplift Challenge over at ScrapMatters and LOVED how this LO turned out!! The right side is the one I lifted, then for the left side I flipped and did a little changing and got a balanced LO! I love it!

Here's the 2 pages side by side:

And here are the individual sides (so you can see them a bit closer up!) They are also linked to my gallery if you have questions about credits or whatever :D

And of course to make this adorable page I had to use this adorable kit by Graham like the Cracker - it's called "Believe". I used the HUGE Collection which includes the kit (alpha, paper & elements), Worn Papers, Extras (extra alpha & extra elements).

This amazing kit alone has an alpha, 28 papers & 76 elements! The kit is $7.50 - but the collection is only $10.99 and you get a TON more! You get an additional 33 elements, an extra alpha, a distressed paper pack containing 8 seasonally appropriate papers. Last but not least there are also 4 templates to make scrapping your holiday memories a breeze!!

Strive for Five - Template Mini-Pack

I threw my back out last weekend - so i didn't get to do as much scrapping for iNDS as I woukd have liked (or at all this week for that matter!) But because Char (from Wyld Web Designs) came out with these perfect multi-photo templates I was at least able to get one page done - and I really like how it turned out!

Here is Char's mini-template pack - available exclusively at Scrap Matters

I used this amazing kit by Jen from Graham like the Cracker called "For Him"

And to coordinate with the kit are these cool Worn Papers! I used these also!

GLTC has a new kit out!

Jen's got her mojo back!! :) And it SHOWS! She released this kit last week - but I was busy with some family in town due to a funeral - so I just got a chance now to work with this ADORABLE kit! :)

I worked with the whole "Rainbows & Butterflies" collection. Jen collabed with WM [squared] Designs to create this gorgeous collection!

This collection would normally be $17.25 - but its on sale NOW for only $11! I love the Spring feel of this kit! I used it to scrap two different LOs for Easter. For my son's page I made the cute Easter eggs :) Both LOs were made using a template from the awesome MandaGirl

As you can see this can be used for Boys or Girls and a variety of different LOs! The papers & elements are very versatile!

And for the 2nd page I combined this kit with Jen's "Making Waves" collab with jennifer barette (pieces recolored some) and created an adorable "matching" page to the other one - showing the swimming we did at the hotel pool in Green Bay.

Graham like the Cracker's "Little Princess Sighs"

Jen originally created this kit while she was still at GingerScraps - and it was always on my wish list - well now she's BRINGING IT BACK! I was so excited to see this kit be re-released - I just couldn't wait to get my hands on it and scrap!!

I love the soft colors of this kit - and it worked perfectly for finishing to scrap Kaylee's 1st birthday (her 2nd party!)

Here's what Jen has to say about the kit: "I absolutely love the newborn stage. It is the best sound in the world when your baby is resting on your shoulder and they make a tiny little sigh. So this kit is for scrapping all of those delicious newborn moments! It is filled with lots of stars, ribbon, buttons, ric rac and other scrapping necessities for scrapping your newborn princess.

This kit 48 elements and the layered elements come with a drop shadow version.
This kit also contains 22 papers."

And here are the TWO layouts I created! I loved this kit!!!

This first one I used another one of Misty O'Brien's Number Templates - I told you I'd be using more of them! I just love the look of this LO!

The second LO was an awesome template challenge over at ScrapMatters - I just loved all the paper blocks - and especially loved the fact that it was a multi-photo LO! My specialty! hee hee

And ALMOST as exciting as that - if you visit Jen's blog now - you have up to 6 chances to win a free $25 gift certificate to Persnickety Prints! That means you can print you OWN scrapbook layouts! Plus they have a great flat-rate shipping - of only $5! I love that!! Hurry on over - because the contest ends TUESDAY MORNING!!
